Eagle's fabrication facility is found on Deck 8. A number of computer-controlled synthesizers manufacture tools, hardware, clothing, small devices, repair parts, and any other objects which can be programmed into the fabricator matrix, using a stock of raw materials much as the ship's food synthesizers do.
At the rear of the deck is the ship's laundry. Here, all soiled crew uniforms are broken down into their base components and reassembled as fresh clothing. Articles to be cleaned may be placed in the appropriate carrier tubes on each deck.
Six view ports, arranged in pairs, are located along the level's outer concentric corridor. The center of the deck is occupied by the computer core.
