Deck 18

Eagle's shuttlecraft hangar level, Deck 18, is situated at the widest part of the secondary hull. Much of the deck consists of open space, as it is the midlevel of the cargo facility.

Secondary Auxiliary Control Room

At the forward end of the deck, behind the navigational deflector system, is the secondary auxiliary control center. This room enables command personnel to control all propulsive and shipboard systems should the primary hull suffer severe structural and control damage. Although destruction of this magnitude is unlikely, combat possibilities warrant such a backup facility.

Just aft of the control center is a compartment containing the reserve engineering control computer. This logic circuit, combined with the engineering computer on Deck 14, provides sufficient regulation and memory to allow use of the ship's main warp drive system.

Shuttle Hangar

The shuttle hangar has sufficient room for the storage of four craft at any given time. During normal storage situations, these shuttlecraft face aftward.

Two cargo holds at the aft end of the level feature ceiling hatches which open onto the Landing Bay floor.
