AQUASHUTTLE

Launched in 2265, the aquashuttle is a highly specialized vehicle, half spaceship and half submarine. The hull is reinforced to withstand the pressures of the depths, and unlike the standard shuttle, is armed with one forward-mounted phaser bank to defend itself against any aquatic leviathans it might encounter. The passenger compartment in similar in layout to that of the standard shuttle, but features wrap-around windows to afford the passengers an unobstructed view of the outside. A pair of nacelles gave the craft warp capability.
