Background

Her creation was a happy accident, her father had raised her to believe. Though shortly after her birth, her mother left them for reasons unknown. This fact didn't really bother Cynda growing up, as she was Daddy's Little girl and he always showered her with love and encouragement . . . enough for two parents.

The only time she felt the pangs of not having her mother was as an adolescent . . . and trying to get through all the crazy hormonal changes that happen to young girls when they change into women . . . But her dad came to her rescue understanding her better than she ever thought a guy could.

Her father was her role-model and she excelled to be just like him. Since he was a Starfleet Physician, she put all her effort into school. She got highest marks upon graduation. When she applied to Starfleet Academy, she was accepted. Her father bought her a necklace with a star charm to show her how proud he was of her. To this day, she rarely takes it off.

When she was at the Academy, she had several brief romances, but none ended up being serious or the deep kind of love she was looking for. After she graduated the Academy, she continued her studies at Starfleet Medical School. She studied hard and earned highest marks, yet again. Her father cried at her graduation.

She spent her residency at Starfleet Medical, where, to her dismay, her father became ill. His illness had progressed so far before he had even realized he was sick. His whole puloumonary system was compromised. Cynda did everything she could do to save him, but in the end, it wasn't enough . . . All she could do was sit beside him, hold his hand and tell him it was okay to go, through her tears . . . That she would be okay without him.

When he died, he had taken a piece of her spirit. But to live up to his expectations of her, she continued on. She had his body cremated, as per his wishes . . . and scattered among the stars.

Not long after, she requested a transfer as far away from Earth as she could manage . . . SB901. Which was granted.

Personality

She's a very sweet person, and very understanding. She has a wonderful bedside manner and it takes a lot to upset her. She does get sad from time to time because of her father and sometimes feels very alone in the universe now.

Hobbies

Reading, Holodeck, Arboretum, Swimming, ice skating, horseback riding. Meditation and martial arts, though that's to help her focus. Also photography.

She's Telepathic/Empathic and she can shapeshift, though it's limited.
