History

Son of El Aurian refugees. Born in Aldrinville, Mars, Corran entered the Marine Corps in 2278 at the age of eighteen. While in the Marines for the past 107 years, Corran has amassed a large service record. His first posting was with the Fifty-First Marine Battalion. There, he served for nearly twenty years as an infantry member.

After serving with the Fifty-first, Corran was transferred to Parris Island Marine Corps training facility for additional field training. Here, he picked up his specialty: Sniping. Corran spent a total of ten years at the facility both learning the fine art of sniping, and instructing it. He was a quick study, and was soon hitting targets with high powered projectile rifles up to one mile away.

After his time on Parris Island, Corran was transferred to the Twentieth Marine Expeditionary Force, Delta Platoon onboard the USS Patton. He served as the platoon's sniper with lethal accuracy for thirty years. His term ended onboard the Patton, and he was transferred to the Twentieth Marine Expeditionary Force, Easy Platoon, on the USS Bradley.

On the Bradley, Corran was offered the opportunity to command and a promotion into officer's ranking, but he refused, wanting to remain within the enlisted ranks. He served on the Bradley for his longest run of nearly fifty-five years. During this time, he served on the front lines during the Dominion and Cardassian Border Wars. During these times, he was given awards for bravery and injury in the forms of two purple hearts and a silver star for eliminating a squad of enemy soldiers advancing on a group of unarmed civilians.

After his time on the Bradley came to a close, he was transferred to the USS Olympic with the Thirty-First Marine Expeditionary Force, Bravo Platoon. During this time he served in the Mulluran War, and other small disputes and uprisings in the sectors surrounding Starbase 901. With the Mulluran War closing down, Corran was transferred to the Twenty-Eigth Marine Expeditionary Force under the command of Colonel Tarik where he serves as one of the snipers.

Personality

Corran is a cool, calm, laid-back individual. He usually has a calm smile on his face, which is slightly ironic given his profession.

Special

With over fifty years as a sniper in the SFMC, Corran can concentrate deeply, and calm himself to keep steady aim on a target.

Hobbies

Corran enjoys spending time with his fellow enlisted Marines whether it be tossing back a few drinks, or spending time on the holodeck. He does occasionally meet and socialize with officers, but it is usually of official nature.
