Background

She was born on Earth. Her father was a research scientist for Starfleet, though not in Starfleet. After his contract was up, Danni was around 5 years old, they moved to Markova and settled. Her father got another job in research, her mother was a designer. She had fun with all her siblings and they loved each other, but they were never very close. She was always different from them. They were all interested in design or scientific research. Danni wanted to explore the galaxy. Find a place where she would feel she belonged.

She excelled in school, particularly in subjects requiring reading and anything dealing with arts, and or cultural education. She worked various jobs to save up money, and on her 22nd birthday, she packed a few of her most precious belongings, said good-bye to her family and left Markova. She hasn't been back since.

She went to a couple of worlds and decided that they weren't what she was looking for. She was going to see about New Canada, and if there was anything there she could do, when she arrived on SB901 and decided to stay. When she met Kassia and took a position in her shop, for the first time in Danni's life, she felt she was somewhere she belonged. She now has friends she is close to, a job she really loves and a place she really feels she fits into.
