It is rumored that he could be telepathic, but he has never confirmed or denied this. But he has shown up to Kassia's rescue on more than one occasion auspiciously!

Troy was born on Trayva in the village of Sommersaut on the Earth equivalent of March 18, 2346. His childhood was not a happy one. His parents were not kind or loving. At 8 years of age, he went to live with his maternal grandmother Anga. She was a wonderful woman and loved him very much. She taught him the importance if being righteous and protecting those who could not protect themselves. He stayed until she died when he was 16 years old. At which time, he returned to his parents. Since he was a man, they expected him to work. Which he gladly did to get him away from their home. He could have saught his own place on many occasions and yet something inside told him to stay. At the age of 22 years, his parents brought Kassia into their home. He immediately grew very protective of her, but there was some things he couldn't stop. Like the things they said to her, or the abuse they put her through when he wasn't home . . . or when he was asleep. Some of his memories include Kassia sneaking into his room to sleep with him, so that his parents couldn't hurt her.

When he was 25 years old, and Kassia was around 15 years old they believe, he stopped his father from raping her in a drunked state. In the process, Troy was stabbed. Somehow he recovered. His father managed to miss all of his vital organs. But the good thing was Mikolo had disappeared. As soon as he was well enough, Troy took Kassia without a fight, and left Trayva and has never looked back. He has worked odd jobs to make money and he seems to be good at almost everything he tries. But his favorite job is bartending.

After leaving Trayva, they ended up on a world called Santori. There they met a woman named Clariza. She was a mystic and discovered Kassia had the gift. She took them both under her wing and taught Kassia everything she knew. When Clariza died of old age, Kassia was devistated. She loved the woman like a dear grandmother. Troy helped her pick up the pieces. That was last year. They decided to move from Santori. That brought them here to SB901. Once Kassia was accepted as a shop keeper, Troy set out to find himself work. He didn't have any desire to work in her shop. He was far from wanting to be a mystic. That was his sister's department. So he found himself a job at one of the busiest dance clubs, Soma, as a bartender/ bouncer. He has enjoyed his job very much so far, and it keeps him close to his sister.

Basically, he believes he is Kassia's protector and if anyone hurts her, they will have to deal with him. And the outcome won't be pretty. But he is slowly learning he isn't her only protector and that she can protect herself, once she learns to harness the power to do it. Dealing with his sister being in Starfleet has been an adjustment, but he's learned to cope and has made close friends out of the deal.
