History

Born in San Francisco, Julia is the child of two high-ranking Starfleet Officers and always knew that when she grew up she wanted to work her way towards a command in Starfleet. She first met her boyfriend Jonathon in her first year of Starfleet Academy, they were great friends sharing study-groups, interests and later on life-changing experiences. In her second year at the San Francisco Campus Cadet Julia Smith was asked by Cadet Jonathon Leret to be his girlfriend just as she was about to ask him to be her boyfriend; they have kept those roles since that day.

She is currently in her optional third year of Command Training, mandatory for cadets wishing to graduate and immediately take up a position in the Mainstream Command Career Track graduating as a Full Lieutenant, for her Command Cadet Cruise she has been assigned for one year to the same Duty Station as her boyfriend, a Starbase neighbouring the infamous Briar Patch, Starbase 901.

Personality

Julia is a kind, nice young woman who makes friends easily but does not hold friendships with people she considers sly or unkind to others or to herself. She is very warm and friendly towards her boyfriend, Jonathon Leret, a person whom she feels she can be open to and can rely on to keep things secret or to be able to talk to. She is very close to her parents, she usually contacts them once a fortnight, sometimes once a week; she will always contact them at least once a month unless circumstances do not permit it.

Her parents are supportive of her and her wishes regarding her posing in Starfleet, they look forward to her graduating from the Academy fully and have encouraged her decision to stay in the Academy to take all the Command Courses she requires for her desired Career Choices, they are glad she has gone into the Command Career Track. They are also very supportive of her personal life and more specifically of her boyfriend Jonathon, as soon as they met Jonathon Leret they loved him and his personality, they are extremely glad he also shares a desire to rise to the heights of command and the fact he has taken two extra years of his career in Starfleet to go to Command School, they also like the fact he has gone into the Security Department and are glad that his dream of working as a Security Officer on a frontier Starbase has been granted. They are also great friends with Jonathon's parents, they see each other socially as much as they can and due to the fact both they and Jonathon's parents work in Starfleet, they often serve together and when they meet they discuss duty as well as personal issues.

Hobbies

Julia can almost always nowadays when on-campus be found studying when on her early off-study hours, but she also knows how to enjoy herself, she doesn't know yet how much extra studying she will have to do aboard Starbase 901 but is sure to mix it with personal and leisure experiences and activities.

Her hobbies include: Spending time with Jonathon Leret, spending time with her friends both in the holodeck and in 'real' environments, cooking, playing tennis and other sports, jogging is one of her favourite pastimes, reading.

Additional Notes

She shares Junior Officer's Quarters with Jonathon Leret, they have a seperate single-bed sleeping area each but use the rest of their quarters together.
