Background

Gregory was born into a wealthy family. One that knew their roots, but was not stuck on class distinction. Which put them out of some social circles. He was named after his grandfather and raised with much love. His sister, Emily was born 5 years after him. He relished his role as protective older brother.

He went to the finest schools, but never lost his sense of values that his parents had instilled in him and his sister. He found as he got older that his true passion was literature and history. He even went to Harvard, majoring in Ancient Literature. He was also a linguist in his own right. He had learned many languages so he could read many of the ancient manuscripts that he had a chance to study on his own, without the use of a translator. But during his youth he was left out of a lot because he wasn’t tied up with wealth and status. He was always very down to Earth.

Because of his natural charm, he had many female admirers, and though he dated, there was never a single girl that stole his heart.

After his graduation, he decided to travel and use his talents as a consultant. It allowed him to continue to expand his knowledge and see priceless documents.

On a trip to Santori, looking around at many of the shops in one of the squares, he accidentally ran into a dark-haired woman that seemed to capture his imagination since he’s never seen anyone like her before. He invited her for a drink and she accepted - after her working day was done. She had then surprised him by calling him by his name. She finally introduced herself as Kassia. He followed her to a little shop that belonged to the local mystic - Clarize. Clarize had just merely smiled at their meeting and encouraged Kassia to go to their meeting later.

What started with a couple of drinks lead to a whole evening of conversations . . . and many others that followed. He had a genuine attraction for her, but knew they were friends. She even did readings for him . . . Predicting a woman in his future . It wasn’t her? He would tease Kassia.

They were very close up until the time he had to leave Santori, but they kept in touch until Clarize died. Slowly she wrote less and less. He didn’t see her again until coming to SB901 where he was greeted warmly by her. Their friendship was definitely unchanged.

Because of her and just the feel of the station, Gregory finally decided to take a break from his work and traveling and plant some roots by opening a coffee house bookstore called The Enclave. Kassia also set him up with a date - Alexandra Faal. There was something about her from the moment he saw her that touched his heart. He had never believed in love at first sight before . . . Not until he had met Alexandra . . . She stole his heart . . . His plans are to continue to see her and see where things go.
