Ensign Parker was in Science Lab one making some charts to help ships in the future pass easliy through the Briar Patch. He was sitting at his desk when his comm channel beeped. He quickly pressed his comm badge and replied, "Yes?"
[Ensign, Commander Jeffreys here, report to my office at once.]
"Aye sir, on my way." Parker quickly left the lab and made his way to the turbolift and from there, the bridge. Once on the bridge Greg looked around and saw a small bridge crew and nothing to really alarm him to an emergancy. He walked in to the commander's office and stood at attention and got the usual customary response.
"At ease ensign. I want you to meet Captain Jennings of the USS Hood and Lieutenant Ryan, the Hood's Chief Science officer," Commander Jeffreys said as the ensign shook the two men's hands. "Ensign, I want you and Ensign Connor to help Lieutenant Ryan piece together what exactly the Hood picked up on sensors. You're to report to me only when you find something, lad. You're dismissed."
With that, Lieutenant Ryan and Ensign Parker stepped out of Jeffreys' office and started to discuss the best place to start thier work. They decided on the bridge of the USS Hood at both Science 1 and Science 2 stations. Parker met Connor in the transporter room. She brought all the tools they all need and the four beamed over.
