Lieutenant Call was fighting the urge to bring up something painful from his past, but he told himself it could work this time.
"Commander Jeffreys, I have an idea."
Jeffreys stood up from his chair and gave a stern look. "Well lad, spit it out for goodness sake."
"Sir, we can beam a team a deck below the area the Son'a are, say six to nine men armed with phasers and photon gernades. We can beat the Son'a in close combat."
Then Commander Kelly intrupted and tried to add best as he could, "You used that on DS2 and it was considered a sucsess, but it had a bad cost." Call shook his head and tried to forget the pain he had.
"If you fail the Son'a can escape onto the station and who knows what then," Commander Jeffreys said.
"Well, beam us onboard and release the Hood, if I don't contact you in under 45 minutes you can fire on the Hood and destroy it," Call said.
I don't care about the past anymore, damn it. I learned from my past mistake and now, and only now, it's clear why it happened. What is my life compared to the lives on this station, Call thought to himself.
Jeffreys paced back and forth and then took his seat and tapped his finger on the arm of his chair.
