Lieutenant Nugent was on a mission today, she wanted to speak with Lieutenant Commander Richard Walllace, the new Chief of Operations for the station. She believed it was her duty to greet the senior staff and also evalute them as well.
She walked up to the door for the Operations office. The door was see through class with the Starfleet logo glazed on the class. She saw Commamder Wallace sitting at his desk peering over a PADD. She walked in and saw Wallace's attention turn from the PADD to her.
"Yes Lieutenant can I help you."
"In fact you can, I'm Lieutenant Nugent the Stations counselor. I want to welcome you and say hello."
Richard's faced turned straight and a little clod his manner became, "Sorry I don't need a counselor."
"Wait a second I'm just doing my job as you are, so don't jump dowm my throat." She snapped back.
"Sorry. I'm just uneasy around your type of people. Come and sit."
She went and sat a chair oppsite of the desk. "So how are you fairing onboard here?"
"Quite well, station duty is a lot more easy then a ship to me. This will of course be my last assignment."
Nugent thought the comment strange and inquired about it. "Why do you say that?"
"Well come next month I've been in Starfleet 18 years and, well lets say I've been here and there one to many times. I've also got this nice piece of land on New Bajor in the Gamma Quadrant, I'm looking foward to see and live on."
She gave a smile and then replied, "Well I hope everthing works out. I have a session with Commander Pol in an hour so I need to get going. Hope to see you around."
What an interesting man.
