Will found himself in his quarters, his heart pounding and his clothes soaked with sweat as the treatment regimen took hold. He would have placed himself in restraints were his medical services not needed. There was only so much the EMH could do, and with Ming in containment and the rest of the medical staff incapacitated, Will couldn't risk someone dying because he'd taken such measures.
His mind was foggy...a single thought permeating it. Something primal, from deep within the brain's primitive core. Despite all of his intellect and his moral sense he couldn't avoid the imperative...
Suddenly he bolted straight up from his bunk. Heedless of his state of disarray or his surrounding, he staggered out of his quarters and into the corridor. The corridors of the ship were filled with senseless hedonism of all types. Will did not care. He knew his objective...
There was seemingly no passage of time before Will found himself at Karissa's quarters. The kids are sick...this virus has put them down too...I have to make a housecall, he rationalized to himself as he chimed the door.
The door slid open. Karissa stood there in a long nightgown, her hair loose and disheveled. As she saw him, her brown eyes stared at him, as if he were a drink and she were dying of thirst. But she said nothing. Only looked at him, not trusting her own voice . . . or what she might say . . . The twins, though sick, were now asleep. She had given them some childrens cold medicine . . . It was about all she knew to do, and shortly there after, they had nodded off to sleep. But it had left her to herself and her mind . . and her desires . . .
She was interrupted by the door chiming. "Come in," she said, although she wasn't entirely sure why.
Will entered, a strange, distant look in his eyes. He immediately rushed to her, grabbed her, and kissed her passionately as he pushed her down onto the sofa.
Something within her responded. Her arms wound around his neck, her fingers played in his hair . . . She smiled as he kissed her neck and then returned to kiss her lips again. She was drowning in the moment, allowing it to take her away . . . Allowing Will to sweep her off her feet.
Will's animal instincts had completely taken over. He worked as quickly as he could to remove both his and Karissa's clothing, frequently fumbling as he lost concentration.
Karissa helped him with her nightgown, effortlessly wiggling out of it. Then she started helping him with his own clothing. She could wait to run her hands over his chest . . . his back . . . down lower on his anatomy . . . She smiled as she nipped him teasingly on his shoulder as she bared it her sight.
Will immediately and without any thought whatsoever took Karissa so suddenly that even she was surprised. He'd completely lost himself in the moment, tuning out everything around him. He only wanted to sate his urges...
She cried out, but it was with pleasure. She wanted him, as much as he wanted her . . . She could sense that. As she allowed him to take control for the moment, she wasn't content to let him keep it. Easily, she maneuvered them onto the floor with him on his back. As she straddled him, she felt him deeply within her and sighed. She then began moving at a quickened pace, crying out in pleasure. She looked into his brown eyes and caressed his face, then leaned in to kissed him with all the passion within her.
Will at last spent himself, in every possible meaning of the word. His sexual urge fulfilled, his body began to tremble, and finally he passed out before he'd even withdrawn.
Karissa reached her peak with Will and cried out. As he passed out, she caressed his face and tenderly kissed his cheek. She then snuggled up next to him as her mind temporarily cleared . . . As it did, she looked at Will and wondered just what she was getting herself into . . . She knew this was the virus. Part of it was . . . But there was more. She could feel it. There was something more that drove the virus . . . what would that mean for them? It frightened her . . .
Will lay unconscious, completely senseless, shivering on the floor. Karissa touched his mind and found utter incoherence, although she sensed that some sense of order was starting to resume.
She reached up onto the couch and pulled the blanket that was there and wrapped it around them. She tenderly kissed him and leaned her head on his chest to listen as his heart beat. Other memories began to surface with her and Ryan . . . She could feel the sorrow, and yet she was removed from it somehow . . . The virus, she imagined. She snuggled closer to Will.
Will's body had generated a tremendous amount of heat during his exertion, and Karissa found it almost uncomfortably warm next to him. Still, she stayed with him. It was better than the alternative.
She waited for him to wake . . . She knew it would be soon. She only wondered if there would be questions . . . Or if the virus would take them both again . . .
