Lieutenant Call stood at the old tactical station of the Bounty and seemed very intrested in doing this assignment.
"Sir, we have cleared SB901 and setting course to the planet. Waiting for your word." Cadet Razek said from the Conn station. Nevar sat in the Command chair and turned towards Lt. Nugent working the OPS station.
"All 293 Colonist aboard sir, most are asleep."
"Very well Cadet lets see how this rust bucket holds up. Warp 6.9" Commander Nevar said. "Call keep your eyes open for anything such as a Son'a ship and any other unfriendlies." Nevar turned back towards the counslor.
"Aye Aye Sir." The Bounty moved along quite well and shocked Call, that an old ship of this class performed this well.
"Okay at 0530 I want Razek and Call to take a 35 minute break to eat and sleep, I'll then take my turn with Nugent at 0605 hours. I'll be in the ready room if anyone needs me. Lieutenant you have the bridge." Nevar left and went to the ready room which was about the size of the crew quarters on a Defiant class ship.
I like this. Nice and quite, but a little danger in the unknown. I can handle it this time.
