Lieutenant Nugent was downloading the information on the USS Wellington. It took her only 42 minutes to find everything needed for this mission. She got up and handed a PADD to Commander Wallace sitting in the command chair. He had his chin in his hand, and appeared deep in thought.
"Sir I have found everything on the USS Wellington. Here you are," Nugent said handing over a PADD.
"Well tell me the main information you have found."
She was taken by this and didn't expect this at all. Nugent thought she'd just hand the PADD over, and go back to work.
"Well the Wellington is a Intrepid class ship only 13 months old. While at Starbase 103 she was armed with 136 Quantum torpedos. That's what alerted Command about Walker sir. I've also have the command codes for the ship sir."
It appeared to Commander Wallace that the Lieutenant didn't have much experience with battle and tactics. "Thanks Lieutenant it's good information, just the command codes are are useless."
Nugent did not understand but tried to get the man idea. "Why sir?"
"Commodore Walker is a very smart man. First rule of thumb for him was to pick a ship rather new and, use it. He more then less changed the command codes. That's the first rule of thumb for a soldier going against the odds and his superiors. Thanks though, for your work." Wallace gave a smile and read over the PADD and remained rather quite.
Lieutenant Le'Chell Nugent knew that Wallace was a very well experienced and seasoned combat officer. She also knew that if she listened and followed his orders that she'd get out of this mission alive.
