"Ensign Kelvin what is the time?" Wallace asked feeling rather sleepy and drained.
"It's 1823 hours sir."
Damn where the hell are they? These are the corridnates that Ross gave me, Wallace thought to himself.
"Sir Galor class Warship coming out of Warp bearing 035 mark 3 sir. Shall I raise shields?" Kelvin said turning his chair towards Wallace.
Richard stood up and shook his head no. Kelvin said okay and turned back to his station. "Lieutenant Nugent inform the Cardassians to beam their respective observers over." Richard said looking at the young Lieutenant.
"Aye sir." Nugent replied.
"Mister Nevar join me we are going to act like gentleman," Wallace said standing by the door waiting for the Security officer to join him. Nevar got up and walked with Wallace to deck 2 which had the transporter room.Wallace called on the comm channel for Garek to join them in the transporter room. The three officers made their way to the transporter room and saw that Murphy was working the controls.
"Alright Murphy energize," Wallace said. Three shapes begain to take form in the transporter pad. The shapes turned into Cardassians. Richard stepped foward to the Cardassian that wore the Cardassian symbol on his chest. "Leggit Korik. Commander Wallace sir. Allow me to introduce my first officer Lieutenant Commander Loran. My chief of security Lieutenant Commander Nevar." The two repected officers step foward.
Korik stepped off the transporter pad and noded in respected to the officers that he was introduced to. "Commander allow me to introduce Glinn Henns and Glinn Eorks. My staff officers." Korik then went right to the point.
"Commander we must get to the work at hand so we can end this damn thing."
Well he's direct and must feel the way I do about this whole thing.
"Very well if you'll follow me then." The six officers left and walked towards the bridge. Garek ever so politely excused himself and went off to Engineering. Before entering the bridge Korik tried to be friendly to Wallace.
"You might like to know that Cardassia has changed a lot since the war."
Wallace stopped and turned towards the elder Cardassian. "Excuse me sir if I don't jump for joy. Al ot of good people died because of your government's attitude towards other species. "We have a job to do and I want it over with." Wallace turned and walked into the bridge and went over to Commander Kelly.
