Commander Wallace sat in his command chair planning his attack or ambush he called it in his mind. He had asked Commander's Kelly, Loren, and Nevar, along with Leggit Korik, to meet on the bridge to talk over the plan. Richard knew his plan would work and new it would work all too well. This was what Wallace was a prodigy at.
The four officers gathered towards the rear of the bridge and awaited for Richard, who was putting the final touches on his plan.
"Okay Leggit Korik did you inform the detachment on Polrika III?" Richard asked, stepping out of the chair and going towards the rear of the bridge to join the other officers.
"Yes Commander, but I must say that the Central Command's response was to send three ships, which won't reach there until the Wellington has been there for 13 minutes," the Cardassian said in a rather complaining tone.
"That's fine. Now for my plan: Once we reach Polrika III the Arizona will land 78 Kilometers from the main compound. We will then use the sensor masking system. Nevar will take 14 of his men and land around the road entering the compound. It's about 34 meters high and very rock solid. Once Nevar's men are in place Garek will flood the compound and the road with a isodionic radtion which will hide any life forms. When Walker beams his men down he will lose their transporter patterns. Thinking that it's his sensors. With the help of 65 Cardassian's you will surround Walker's men. Don't fire unless fired upon. Garek has come up with a way of jamming the landing parties comm channel. So they won't warn Walker. After capturing these men. I'll take off come from beneath the planet's south pole. And fire on the Wellington crippling it." Wallace stopped and caught his breath and then looked around and saw some puzzled looks.
"What if the Cardassian Ships are detected?" Nevar asked.
"That's the idea. Walker is so sure of himself he won't raise shields until they are with in 2 light years away, allowing us to fire on the Wellington with out their shields." Richard handed the PADD over to Nevar showing the terrain he was about to be in.
Garek gave a smile and said, "Sensor masking system is up and running."
"Very well. We will reach the planet in exactly 1 hour. Rest up and get something to eat. All hands yellow alert." Richard turned and looked at Kelly and put his hand on his shoulder.
"You will man Quantum, and Photon controls." Kelly smiled it had been awhile since he had manned a battle station.
"Okay boss. Just don't be surprised if I put in a transfer to tactical when we get back." Kelly said walking to the station and taking a seat.
