The USS Thomas Paine docked in the station's main docking section. They were transferring a few people onboard the station. They walked through a docking hatch into an air lock there One was greeted by a Lieutenant wearing a gold uniform.
"Sir you must be Lieutenant Call," Sovick said, standing at attention.
"Lieutenant Sovick I take it," Call said, extending his hand.
"Well I see you have done well for yourself. Last time I saw you, your studies were not the best," Sovick said in a serious voice.
Call shook his head and gave a chuckle, and motioned for Sovick's orders. Sovick handed him the PADD. "Well life is funny isn't it?" Call asked with a smile.
Sovick was confused, how could Call find this funny. He had struggled with studies in school. "Well Lieutenant, your assigned as second Security officer in charge, however, all senior staff are away......" Call was interrupted.
"I know Commander Wallace is trying to bring in Commodore James Walker. I just like to have my quarter assignment, and I will find my way to them by myself. I will then take over Security while Commander Nevar is detained on a mission."
Call gave a stern look and then handed the PADD back to Sovick. He was very much aggravated by Sovick. "You will find your quarters in section 6 room 34 Alpha. You're dismissed Lieutenant."
Humans are very emotional.
Sovick's quarters were rather small but comfortable. After entering there was a table off to the left that seat two, next to the replicator. A sofa was in the middle in front of the sofa was a class coffee table. To the rear of the room was the entrance to the bedroom. To make the room feel more home. Sovick took out a few items, one was IDIC flag . Next to the table he hung IDIC flag. He then took a picture of his wife and placed it in the bedroom next to his single size bed.
