"Sir we are reaching the last known position of the Darwin." Said Cadet Razek from the helm, to Commander Kelly.
Kelly had the bridge while Wallace was in his ready room. Vince pressed a button on the arm of the command chair.
"Captain we have reached where the Darwin was last reported."
[On my way.]
"Captain Tarik scan for the Darwin." Kelly said turning the chair towards the Tactical station.
"Yes commander." Tarik replied.
"Status report, Mister Kelly." Wallace said stepping put of the ready room.
"We are scanning for the Darwin, sir." Kelly said standing up from the Command chair.
"Sir located a Federation Star ship bearing 031 degrees off the port side."Tarik said .
"Helm turn the ship around, and put the view screen on." Wallace said taking a seat. The View screen showed a hard hit Darwin. The hull had many scorch marks on it. The ship was adrift, and nothing was rather clear.
"Sir I detect a few life signs, and they are spread all over the ship. Multiple hull breaches." Tarik said.
Kelly then ran a few more scans, and then ran another scan over the Darwin."Sir I detect 3 life signs on the bridge, and 8 in Engineering, 3 on deck two. However Engineering is one big mess, plasma fires, and such." Kelly said turning and looking at the captain.
"Alright Tarik take 5 men, and one medic. I'll take three men, and one medic. You'll beam three decks above Engineering, and I'll beam into the bridge." Wallace said as he pulled a tricorder off the bridge panel.
Vince walked over to Captain Wallace, and pulled him to the side."Sir with all do respect, you need to be here if the Son'a show up. Let me go."
"No Commander, I prefer to lead by example. Stay here, and run the ship. Once we secure the wounded, we have to tow the ship back to SB901." Wallace replied with a smile.
The two leading officers left the bridge, and Kelly went and sat back down in the Command chair.
"Cadet I want scan every three minutes for any possible threat's."
I like command, and I sure like my third pip, hell. I was just getting used to be a Lieutenant Commander, now I am a full one. Kelly thought to himself, as he signed an order,that an Ensign brought him.
