Most of the senior staff was around the conference table sitting in quiet, and waiting for Captain Wallace, and Commander Carter to show up. The door open and Captain Wallace, and Commander Carter walked in and took their respective seats. "Ok, the Son'a are pretty much gone. We've help the Ba'ku rid any Son'a technology. I assume Major your Marines suffered no combat casualties."
"Correct sir, nothing major."
"Mister Razek is still in sickbay. So Commander Carter, Lieutenant Schmidt will fill in for the Ensign.
According to our sensors, we have found a group of class M-Planets, and 1 G-class planet. Carter has the rest of the information."
Carter stood up, and walked over to the view screen. She turned it on and it displayed a map of sorts, she then began to explain.
"Our sensors have picked up a total of 4 class M-planets. They seem not to have any humanoid life. We will be in range of the planets for a better scan in 4 hours. After the scans are complete, the Captain has divided the crew into three teams." Carter turned towards Wallace, and then finished.
"Lieutenant Anderson, and Deveraux will take 4 crewman with you, and beam to the 1st planet. You'll have 2 days to complete your planetary survey.
Commander Loran will lead the second team, and take Lieutenant Schmidt, and two other crew man, your mission is the second planet. You too will have two days to complete your mission.
The third mission will be lead by me. I'll have Chief Murphy, and Ensign Kassia. We too have two days to complete our mission."
Tarik seemed a tad bit uneasy, and raised his hand half way up, to see if he could speak. Wallace saw it and replied." We stay and survey the G class planet, and keep an eye or two open, in case of any non friendlies. Ok, you all have herd the briefing, you have four hours to get ready."
Wallace left and made his way down to the mess hall. His stomach was growling, and was more then less then from not eating breakfast or dinner from the night before. He order hamburger and fries from the replicator. He took an open seat, and quickly ate it. In almost three bites the burger was gone. Lieutenant Anderson sitting a table over got up and walked over, and leaned ever so discreetly and said.
"Sir it isn't going no where."
Wallace replied, "Better make sure of that."
