Paul lay on the bed in his cell. The station brig was a change to the Arizona's brig.. but no better. He lay there and scratched his ass as he thought about the ruins on the planet. Who could have used them. They looked too much like the pyramids of the Aztecs on Earth to be a coincidence. His thoughts were interrupted by a woman standing near the force field.
I'd like a bit of er paul thought as he got up and walked toward her.
"Ensign, lower the forcefield" she said. The force field fizzled out and the young woman stepped in. "Lieutenant Deveraux?"
"Oui. And oo might you be?"
"Lieutenant Alexis Green. I'm assigned to your department."
Maybe ma luck may be changing for zhe better!
"Ohh yeah, and you ave come to see me......?"
"Captain Wallace wants me to teach you how to be a good officer"
Good officer!?! What does Dick sink e's playin at! Mind you i guess I do dezerve it.
"Ey mon amis, I iz already a top notch officer. In more ways zhan one!" he said with a wink. "Ow about maybe I show you ah?" he said moving in close. "Maybe when I get out of ere, we could maybe.. spend zhe night and ave breakfazt together ah?"
"I don't think so" she said walking to the other side of the brig.
"Don't fight it Lieutenant. No woman can rezist me."
"Well I guess I'm going to be the first." she said as she stepped out of the cell. The ensign raised the forcefield again.
"Why? Are you a lezbian?"
Lieutenant Green turned and glared at Paul "I see what the Captain means about you. You are a pain in the rear! I see I'm going to have my work cut out for me. And if your going to be sticking around, your going to learn some manners! First impressions count you know, and this one wasn't a good one!" She turned and stormed out of the brig.
"Definately a Lezbian!" Paul said to himself as he lay back down on the bed.
