As soon as the USS Unity docked at DS9 Link walked anxiously down the promenade to where the USS Ronin was docked, to report to Captain Ryan Evans. He was looking forward to serving under Captain Evans but most of all he was looking forward to working on a small powerful ship where he would make new friends. As he stepped into the turbo-lift he requested to go to the bridge, when he got there he was greeted by Captain Evans, Commander Heim, Lieutenant Sular, and Lieutenant Solas.
"Captain, Ensign McCloud reporting for duty sir." The Captain looked up from a pad that he was working on.
"Good morning Ensign. Your position is engineering?"
"Yes Captain."
"I'm sure you know where engineering is don't you?"
"Yes sir"
"Good. Head down there. Ensign Johnson will give you your orders."
"Aye sir"
"Dismissed". Link left the bridge with a small grin on his face that he hoped nobody saw. He headed for engineering eager to get to work.
