Chris Cutal

Chris Cutal was born in Toledo, Ohio. From birth he showed a remarkable interest in the world around him. He was always endeavoring to learn more about everything that he came into contact with. Once, when he was about twelve, after meeting some Klingon children, he locked himself in his room for two weeks learning everything he could about the culture. After that two weeks he had replicated himself a Bat'leth and a full suit of Klingon armor. He found a mentor and soon learned how to wield the Klingons' sacred blade. Curiosity driving his entire existence was an understatement at this point. His curiosity did teach him that the most valuable lessen in life was to always remember that no matter how much he had learned that he would forever know nothing.

One of his biggest attractions was machines. He would sit around the house for hours working with old broken parts, just to see how the mechanism once worked. By the age of fourteen he could take apart and rebuild a replicator, a tricorder, and a phaser blindfolded. One of his fondest memories was going to a technology expo. He spent the entire week there from the moment it opened to the moment it closed. Just so he could learn all there was about the assortment of what they had there. Unfortunately for him this curiosity did have drawbacks.

One of the biggest drawbacks was that he didn't fit in socially with the other children in his school. It was difficult for him to relate to other people. He found them boring, and difficult to understand. Machines were much simpler then any man could be. His schooling suffered just as much as his social life. He hated school with a passion; he couldn't understand why they made kids sit through the torture that went on in these institutions. It was not learning because that was fun for him. This was something that would change the direction of his life forever.

His reason for going to Star Fleet Academy was to get away from the prison they called school. It was not much of a change, but he knew that once he was aboard a star ship it would all be worth it. In the academy he had made a few friends. Most of them being from the engineering department. Which is what he studied in the academy. He graduated, and began serving aboard a starship.

Cutal is socially inactive most of the time. It is difficult to earn his trust, but once someone has they have it for life, unless some extreme circumstances change his view of that person. He follows orders and only disobeys if he believes that the officer giving the order is not in the right state of mind. He can be very stubborn.
