Zeth Floten

A stereotypical German.

Zeth was born to an average family in Berlin, on Earth. He was raised to show pride in his German history. Floten grew up on a small farm, and was taken hunting by his father most of his life. He attended private schools until he was seventeen, when he graduated from high school (his birthday being in late July). Zeth spent the next few years exploring the possible paths for himself to take.

At the age of twenty, Floten entered Starfleet Academy, but took a path that would lead him to the marines instead of the navy. He was soon proven to be a capable sharpshooter, but he also had shown a good sense of command. He gained a commission as second lieutenant at the age of twenty-two.

In his years after the Academy, Zeth was assigned to a protective garrison on a frontier world. His life was comfortable, commanding a platoon for seven years, until he was promoted to the rank of first lieutenant. With a new rank, Zeth Floten was ripped off the planet on the edge of Federation space and sat down on the USS Patton.

On the Patton, Floten was assigned to be the XO of the company that the Ambassador class carried. Onboard he never even broke out his pulse rifle until the Dominion's invasion. With that war started, Zeth was used in over twenty battles on the ground, claiming over seventy Jem'Hadar soldiers. In this time, he was qualified as a sniper.

Later on, Lieutenant Floten was transferred to the USS Taurus.

Takes offense to people insulting the German people. He takes pride in his abilites as a soldier, but does not brag often. He gives orders for the good of the ship and the "many" instead of the few who should be ready to give their lives for the good of the Federation in his belief, unless his men would die for a worthless cause.

Hobbies include studying history (mainly Earth's WW2)

Excellent hearing and sight. Almost perfect aim with a rifle, and skilled in close quarters combat.
