"A New Job"

Fedora just arrived in her room, when she get a new message. Admiral Nechajev told her that she is getting a new position as a Medical Officer on the USS Taurus. A shuttle would collect her just in a few hours. Fedora was smiling when she realized the news, she waited some time for this chance. She liked the people on Starbase 51 but she needed a new challenge. When Fedora went to pack her things her best friend Counsellor Adana then came in.

"What are you doing" asked Adana, when she saw Fedoras messy room.

"I just been given a new position as Medical Officer on board the USS Taurus", said Fedora happily and hugged Adana. Fedora saw that Adana tried to be pleased with her but she didn't succeeded. They know each other since the beginning of their Starfleet career's and through a happy coincidence both of them started working on Starbase 51. Fedora regretted that there would be a long distance between them but she was sure that her friendship was strong enough and that they would be still good friends in a few years.

"Oh come on Adana that is a great job, I look forward to do it and I call you every single day!"Smiled Fedora.

"Then I'll send you each month a lunch packet" Adana began also joking at the end both walking happily and heavy loaded to the shuttle, which should bring Fedora to the Taurus. Fedora arrived and a young Ensign awaited her to guide her to her new home. Before the young Ensign walked away he said that there would be a little party for the new crew on Holodeck 1. After checking her new room she decided to go to Holodeck 1 to meet some people.
