"Captain, we're picking up a vessel in orbit above Bopak III." Lieutenant Rhee announced from the main science station.

"Yellow alert." Lieutenant J'ross announced. "Do we know what type of vessel it is ?"

"It's hard to identify clearly." Lieutenenat Lune reported. "But the general configuration would suggest that it's some kind of Dominion vessel. We'd need to drop out of transwarp to be sure, but that could give our approach away."

[McQueen to Bridge] The voice of Logan McQueen announced. [What's the problems ?. Why are we at Yellow alert ?]

"Mister McQueen, long-range sensors have detected a Dominion vessel in orbit above Bopak III." Lieutenant J'ross replied.

[Could it be rogue vessel ?] Logan enquired.

"We're not sure. We'd have to drop out of transwarp to be sure and that could give our approach away."

[I'll be on the Bridge in five minutes.] Logan announced. [Logan out.]

The Taurus was approaching Bopak III, rapidly closing the distance between themselves and a Dominion vessel. The vessel detected the Taurus and took up a defensive posture on the equatorial line of the planet. It stabilised its position and waited.

Lieutenant Rhee was watching it closely and saw the changes. "Lieutenant, the Dominion ship has spotted us and is taking up a defensive posture."

"May I remind you that our shields are down at transwarp speeds." Lieutenant Chris Cutal stated, still unsure if Lieutenant J'ross knew enough about the ship. "Although he hadn't been onboard any longer than J'ross, he had only had to learn the ships tactical systems."

"Thank you Lieutenant. Helm, drop out of transwarp and keep distance at the edge of our phaser range. Lieutenant Cutal, plot in a firing and flight pattern that will take their weapons out the fastest. Keep weapons at Yellow Alert until you hear otherwise" J'ross said quickly
Lieutenant McQueen entered the Bridge and took a seat next to J'ross. He checked the situation update with her and immediately took in the full situation.

"Lieutenant, they are running a scan of us." Lieutenant Rhee said to J'ross. "They are concentrating on weapon arrays."

"Mister Cutal, cut ALL power to weapons and get a dampening field around the armoury !" J'ross said quickly and rather anxiously.

"Power cut. They shouldn't have the equipment to thoroughly scan the arrays when they are completely powered down." He replied with confidence.

"Good. The only problem is getting the weapons back up fast. I'd rather hide our strength though." J'ross said as she glanced at Lieutenant McQueen.

"Any recommendations ? I'll bet you have plenty for me." She asked him with a small smile.
