Myron had left the conference lounge and proceeded to his quarters. He still had three bags of belongings to unpack. He had been onboard only a few hours.
The crew quarters were dark, so dark it was hard for the young Ensign to see his own hand in front of his face. "Lights 31%." Myron said aloud. The room dimly light up in a manner only a Cardassian would love.
His crew quarters were rather simple. A bedroom was off to the left hand side of the door. Towards of the middle of the main living quarters was a two-person sofa. In front of the sofa was small coffee table. To the right hand side was a small two-person dining table. A very tiny viewport was behind the sofa.
Sitting on the sofa were Myron's three bags. One of the bags was a clothing duffle. The other two contained items that were mementos. Myron picked the second largest bag up and pulled out the banner he had been given by his adopted human father upon his graduation from Starfleet Academy. The banner was the one his father Gul Okul flew over his post as a governor of a planet. Myron hung the banner on the wall towards the rear of the room.
Myron then pulled several pictures and placed them on a stand in the corner of his quarters. After unpacking he picked a PADD up and took a seat on his couch and thought deeply for a few minutes then spoke.

I have begun my Starfleet career on a very good note. I've been assigned an away mission. The mission seems interesting.
Commodore Wallace appears a little different then what I've heard. I will hopefully see if he lives up to his reputation. He has a very impressive service record, so I can't doubt his abilities. I just hope I impress him.
I thought a person that had fought Cardassains would be a little more restrained towards me. It seems however he's not one to see a race and then quit. And that's great.
I wonder if Commander Worf felt this burden that I know feel. I shall hope to become as good as an officer as I can be.
