<The time is 0530 hours> The computerized alarm went off.
Lunis opened his eyes and looked around and saw that his roommate was still on the late shift.
Time to get up. Lots to do in such little time before the Commodore comes on board.
He stretched and stepped out of bed and walked over to the closet and pulled out his uniform, and then went and jumped into the sonic shower .
At around 0555 he left his quarters and went to main Engineering. Lunis was going to readjust the secondary sensors. He felt that during the prelaunch test some two days ago the sensor backups couldn't find a star if pointed in the general area of the star's direction.
Ensign Tunis asked Lantree if he could upgrade the secondary sensor array to make it more effective both on a combat mission and on a mission of scientific nature.
Lieutenant Lantree gave permission to Tunis and Tunis quickly went to work and was all but done when his shift was up.
Tunis was quite a officer. He held three Degrees: one in biology, one in computer science, and a degree in Medical sciences. For Tunis' other host had been a chief medical officer for Starfleet for 19 years. And to top it off Tunis' second host was a class 4 pilot.
After four hours of tweaking the second sensor array he remembered that he had to clean up for the Commodore's arrival. He ran a check and saw that his work was complete, and quickly left and went and got ready for the CO's arrival.
