Niges duty shift had ended and as he walked into his quarters, noticed Torasu still had fur missing from his back. As promised, he decided to take him to sickbay.
"Commander, what can I do for you, and your cat?" Haakon asked as they entered sickbay.
"There was a small incident last night, that resulted in a bit of hair loss" said Nige exposing Torasu’s bald back.
"Awww, what happened to the poor little kitty?" asked Haakon taking him from Nige in a cutesy voice.
"I shot him" replied Nige.
Haakon looked at Nige with an odd expression. "I'm not even going to ask.... What exactly do you want me to do with him?"
"Is there any way to re-grow his hair?"
"I can stimulate the hair follicles, but it will still take time. Until then, he will still have this bald stripe."
"There is no way to make him look.... normal?"
"There is one way...."
"What does it involve?"
[Benson to Nige]
"Nige here?"
[Can you come to engineering right away?]
"I'm on my way Bill. Carry out the treatment. I'll be back in a few minutes.
Nige entered sickbay ten minutes later....
"Sorry I took so long Linn, I just had to.... OH MY GOD!! what have you done???" said Nige running over to the biobed where Torasu sat.
"I shaved him"
"Why?"
"You wanted him to look normal, this way all his hair will re-grow at the same rate. He should only be bald for a day or two."
"I can't believe you shaved my cat!!"
"Well, you told me to do it." Nige just gave Haakon an evil look, picked up Torasu and headed for the door. "You haven't heard the last of this" Nige smiled as he left. "I shall avenge the cat!!"
"Ohhh brother...."
