Character History

K'Lara is the daughter of Q'Tar and a Telian woman. The Telians are a subrace of humans with telekinetic powers and a vicious temper. Their eyes glow when they are angry. She was born on a Klingon Warbird in the year 2334. She learned both her father's ways and her mother's ways. She joined Starfleet when she was eighteen. Because of her temper, people feared her. She learned to control her rage with the help of a Vulcan name Telek.

She was assigned to the USS Virgo in December 2381. She was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Junior Grade, then Lieutenant, in the beginning of 2359 for her outstanding abilities as Helmsman. Then, she was promoted to Lieutenant Commander on October 25, 2359 by Captain Stephen Maruu.

In March 2383 K'Lara married her First Officer, Commander Jonathan Lataro. Later, on April 3, 2383, she gave birth to their first son: T'Lan Alexander Lataro.
