Ending The Lorians

"To discuss terms for YOUR surrender," Devore said with a smile. The Lorean glared at Devore with an evil eye and then disappeared instantly. "I guess that means none. Ensign Jakur, what is the status of the remaining Lorean ship?"

"Sir, main weapons are off line. Heavy damage to the primary hull, and their weapons are off line."

"Good. Mr. Toran, prepare a quantum torpedo spread, pattern alpha."

"Aye Sir."

[Engineering reports ready.] Ensign Shaka said from engineering.

"Good Ensign," Lieutenant Harris said.

"What is ready, Grant?" Devore said wondering.

"Sir if they try to use their mental blast like they did earlier, we will be ready for them. I figure....."

"Captain," Toran interrupted. "I am ready a mass build up in the forward array of the Lorean ship. It looks like another blast."

"Well Lieutenant. This is your call. Take it! Make it count," Devore said.

"Aye! Shaka, prepare the pulse. Wait for my order!"

[Yes sir!] She said.

"Sir, their is an ambient blast coming from the Lorean ship!" Jakur yelled.

"Now Shaka!" Harris yelled.

In engineering, Shaka monitored the energy levels of the tractor beam as Ensign Hansen made a few more adjustments. [Now Shaka!]

"Initiating disrupter burst!"

On the Bridge, Harris watched as a beam from the deflector dish sent static charge just in front of the Leviathan. An energy cloud was deflected and dissipated just off the star board bow. "Status report, engineering!" Devore yelled.

[Captain. Tractor beam circuitry totally burned out. It needs a total overhaul.]

"Understood. Offensive manoeuvres Ensign. It is time to put an end to this. Execute attack sequence Devore Omega 4!" Devore yelled.

The Lorean ship launched a single missile that seemed to surprise the Leviathan crew for they had assumed that the Loreans were no longer capable of launching. But Omega 4, took the Leviathan spinning on its vertical axis and jump to full impulse. At 500 km, the ship stopped and rolled to face the blunt side of the Lorean ship, totally within the view screen. "Captain, good torpedo lock!" Toran yelled.

"Fire!" Four quantum torpedoes launched from the Leviathan and hit directly the Lorean nacelles and bussard collectors which caused a chain reactive explosion. The Lorean ship exploded in millions of pieces.

"Yes!" Harris yelled.

Devore plopped down in his seat and sighed a breath of relief. "Lieutenant Harris. Set up damage control teams and get to work on repairs and tell both Hansen and Shaka 'Good Job!' for me," Devore ordered.
