Intruder

The Leviathan was at high warp and seemed to be going faster by the minute. Kirk tried to stop the ship in warp speed by powering down but his command was overridden.

"Damn it !" Kirk said out loud.

Then an idea popped into his head. He remembered from a class at the academy, that if the computer detects a core breach or antimatter containment failure, the safety protocols would kick in and the ship would stop dead and eject the core. So he punched in a few commands that caused a plasma conduit to leak into the Warp Core. Since the intruder was preoccupied with Lieutenant Shaka, it didn't notice the entry of commands.

[Warp containment failure in three minutes. The core will be ejected in five seconds.]

The Leviathan slowed to a stop, that seem to anger Holman. It turned to Ambrose and yelled, "No !!!" Then a bolt of lightning emitted from the console connecting to Kirk throwing him out of his chair and 3 meters in the air. He crashed into the bulkhead, instantly knocking him out cold.

"Stop that. You claim to be, or at least you were, a Starfleet officer. Then stop injuring your fellow officers!" Devore yelled angrily running to Ambrose's side to make sure he was all right.

"Devore, you don't understand, " Holman said

Captain Devore after making sure Ambrose was okay, looked at the odd looking life form.

"You claim you want to save lives but you plan to kill all three hundred of us. In my mind, as well as everyone else's, your no better than the Dominion." Lieutenant Harris grew angry charged Holman.

"Grant! No!" Devore yelled as Harris jumped over the rail and grabbed the intruder by his throat. Smell of singed hair and electricity filled the Bridge as Harris was engulfed by random bolts of lightening. His eyes lit up like light bulbs as he screamed in agony. A stream of light suddenly radiated out of Holmon's eyes and split into two streams, one hitting the foreheads of Hansen and Devore. The three officers dropped to the deck and the hologram disappeared.
