Sitting and Waiting

Kirk sat and waited at the Dr. Clairidge's desk as the she ordered him to. Then Lieutenant Toran came in. Immediately Kirk stood up, "Sir what's going on?"

Toran looked at Ambrose. "We are going on impulse power to pick up our warp core some 3 days behind us. That is how long it will take to get there at max impulse power. I wanted to thank you for doing what you did, however it caused some damage to the hull. With the Captain incapacitated, It appears I'm acting Captain until Devore wakes up."

"So all we are going to do is repair our warp drive and ship and wait for the Captain to come out of his coma."

"Yes that is correct Mister Ambrose."

"The doctor says I can return to duty in a few hours."

The two walked out of the office and saw the doctor scanning Devore and Hansen for their brain activity. Harris started to move their head.

"Sir something weird is going on sir." Kirk said to Lieutenant Toran.

"Indeed Mister Ambrose."
