Tyra

Tyra entered her newly assigned quarters and immediately went over to the replicator. She ordered a drink and it appeared a moment later. She picked up the glass filled with red liquid then went over to the couch and set down. She took a sip of the drink and finally relaxed.

"Better." She whispered as she lied back into the couch.

She finished off the glass before she set it down on the coffee table. She picked up a data PADD and brought up her orders. She ran a hand through her shoulder length black hair as she read.

"Congratulations on completing Starfleet Academy. You are assigned to the USS Leviathan under the Engineering department."

Tyra sighed and tossed the PADD back on the table without reading the rest. This was her first assignment and she was more than a little nervous. She began to wonder what the other crewmembers would think of her once they found out about her race.

"The Academy accepted you." She scolded herself. "I'm sure this crew will as well."

She grumbled and got off the couch. She had to see the doctor in Sickbay before she reported to the Captain. She left her quarters and headed for the turbolift that would take her to Sickbay.
