To The Surface

"All hands this is the Captain." Began Captain Devore from the Bridge. "We are in orbit a planet in the Andromenda Cirrius Galaxy designated Moria. We know nothing of this planet except for what little Starfleet Intel might have on it. I want all designated away teams to be ready to beam down to the surface on a fact finding mission. I will keep you in formed as more information is made known. Devore out."

"Captain. Those ships are still heading our general direction but they are not heading for us." Mac said informing the Captain of the massive objects enroute.

"Good. Cadet McCaffee drop us lower into the atmosphere. It should provide us for some cover in conjunction with refractive shielding."

"Aye sir," McCaffee said acknowledging the order.

The Leviathan dropped into the atmosphere, the hull's external temperature rose slightly.

"Captain...." Began Commander Soliel who was monitoring the planet's surface from his seat just to the Captain side. "...I am detecting a large ship of a sort on the surface. There are faint life signs around it, but they are hard to make out if they are human or alien."

"That ship has the same configuration as one of those supercarriers." Rashad informed the Captain.

"Really ? Very well. It looks like we have a little mystery on our hands. Old man, are you ready for a little adventure ?"

"That is why I joined Starfleet, Captain."

"Good, then prepare an away team. I would imagine that you may want to have a few Marines with you."

"All ready ahead of you." Soliel said as the Marines exited the turbolift fully armed. He got up and headed towards the marines. "Rashad. I think that I can use you down on the surface."

Rashad jumped up and followed the Commander. He tapped his combadge, "Ensign Katts. Report to Transporter Room three."

[Acknowledged.]

"Commander." Devore said looking at the Commander from his chair. "Try not to get stuck down there."

Soliel smiled. "Try not to leave us behind."

"Touche !"
