A Mission

Ensign Taylor was reading a PADD when his combadge beeped. He quickly tapped his combadge. "Taylor here."

[Major Phannan here. Report to transporter room three, you've been assigned an away mission.]

"Aye sir on my way." Taylor quickly grabbed his tricorder and hand phaser and ran out the door to the turbolift. Once to the deck he needed he walked into the transporter room. He saw two Marines including Major Phanan, Commander Toran, Commander Rashad, Ensign Katts, and Lieutenant Commander Barker. Major Phannan had an extra phaser rifle and quickly walked over to Ensign Taylor.

"Here you may or may not need this. Never hurts to have too much fire power."

Taylor smiled and took the weapon then thought to himself. *Marines love their way of thinking.*

The transporter room was packed and four people beamed down at a time. First the Marines then Commander Soliel and Commander Rashad and the Doctor and Barker. Taylor was the last to step into the transporter buffer. Taylor hated being beamed but knew it was part of the job he took a quick breath and looked at the transporter Chief and said. "Energise"

*I hope this isn't the first transporter accident on the Leviathan.*

As the away team materialised on the surface, Benosk whipped out his tricorder and scanned the area. Commander Heim, Ensign McCloud and Ensign McMillan all took out phasers.

"Commander ! The ship is this way, just over that ridge."

"Distance ?"

"About 100 metres sir."

"Ok then, lets get moving" Ordered Heim as the four officers moved towards the ridge. On the way, a few away teams from the Leviathan grouped up with the four officers. Benosk looked around, It was a lot like Romulus. The sky was blue and there was an abundance of plant life. He scanned the plant life as he went, most of it turned out to be poisonous. It still didn't stop it from looking nice though. By this time, he had fallen to the back of the group and become separated from the rest of the Ronin's crew. Ensign McMillan and McCloud were talking somewhere amongst the middle of the group whilst Commander Heim had met up with Commander Soliel and had began talking. The two XOs came to a stop and Heim held up his hand to signal to everyone to stop. They peered over the ridge.

"What do you see ?" Asked Benosk....
