Warp Core Cleaning

Lieutenant JG Tyra stood in front of the Warp Core as she read a Padd. It was time to give the core a good looking over. An Ensign came over and handed her another Padd. She took it and handed the Padd she was reading to the Ensign.

"These are the points I want looked over closely." She told the Ensign. "It shouldn't take too long."

The Ensign nodded and went to do what was needed. Tyra then read over the results of the earlier testing that had been done. Tyra growled low in her throat as she came to the conclusion that the core needed more than just a look over. She tapped her commbadge.

"Tyra to Captain Devore."

[Devore here. What is it ?]

"Captain, the warp core needs a make over."

[A what ?]

"It needs a good cleaning and maybe some adjustments to the dilithium crystals."

[That will require the core to be offline. Are you sure it's necessary ?]

"Unless you want dust where dust doesn't belong."

[Just a second.] In the background of the com traffic, Tyra heard the Captain say something. [All right Lieutenant. I'll give you four hours to get it done. Devore out.]

Tyra smiled inwardly as she gave orders to begin getting the warp core ready for an early spring cleaning. She knew she could get this done in under four hours. Then she could get something to eat.
