Our progress is slow towards the system where we think the probe that we are searching for is.

Repairs to the Slipstream drive are taking longer than expected. We still haven't found the problem that we've been encountering with the deflector array.

With the Barien war and our encounters with both the ZeratuI Brood and the Proletarians, we have suffered damage to most of the primary and secondary system aboard.

On a more positive note, we've detected a small class M planet that from sensor scans has an abundance of vegetation and some Dilithuim deposits. The Captain has sent Chief Petty Officer Shale, Lieutenant Grafton and Ensign Murphy in the Runabout King to go and investigate.

They should be able to rendezvous with us in just over a fortnight at our destination.

Our scans of the target system are still 'hazy' at best, again I think that this is due to the problems we have with the deflector dish.

Examined the refractive shielding system has found that several of the field emitters had been damaged. Replacements are awaiting replication, we have limited resources at present and there are more important uses for the replicators.

Hopefully, if the King and her crew can return with a supply of Dilithium our power problems will be appeased for a few months at least.
