Dakul wasn't fast enough however. The hammer he was given wasn't a particularly fast weapon and the nimble goblins managed to overwhelm him and pull him to the ground. As he fell he saw goblins jumping all over Rashad and pulling her to the ground too. He turned his head to be met by a large wooden club. He saw no more.

When he awoke, he could here chattering and laughing all around him. He rolled over and saw Rashad lying by his side bound up in ropes. He checked himself and found that he too was tied. At that moment, he felt something being put to his head. He instantly recognized it as a phaser!

*A Phaser ? This can't be right! Something must have gone wrong with the Captains algorithm !*

"Computer, freeze program." He said, but nothing happened.

"Well a Cardassian and a Bajoran. Odd companions wouldn't you say ?"

Dakul looked up and saw a Romulan dressed in medieval clothing, but holding a Romulan disruptor all the same.

"What are you doing here Cardassian ? Tell me now or things won't be pleasant for you or your friend !"

Dakul new all about Romulan interrogations, he was also a Cardassian and new a fair bit himself. He knew what to expect and how to hold out, and wasn't going to speak to the Romulan any time soon.

Devore crouched behind a tree. He had managed to get to cover as the horde of goblins jumped out. First after fending off the massive horde against Junora and Brayden. Phanan and Morriden was no where to be found. Devore figured that they must have found safety somewhere, but there was no way the Devore was going to leave his crew... no matter how much they hated each other. Perplexed from what he was hearing, Devore didn't understand what was going on. Goblins in this time frame was understandable but not the phaser nor the knowledge of Cardassians and Bajorans. He needed more information.

"Hmm." Said one of the goblins. It looked like he or even it, was taking a liking to the lovely Bajoran/Romulan hybrid. The goblins grotesque finger gently stroked her face. "You are a lovely one. What if I decide I want to keep you for myself."

"You don't own me, so can you decide whether to keep or let me go," Rashad said defiantly.

The phaser was shoved into Rashad's face. "You are mine to do what I want when I want."

"Leave her alone," Dakul yelled struggling at the ropes.

"Shut up," the butt of the phaser was whipped across Dakul's face. Dark blood began to come down his face. "Ahh. Your mate."

"No!" Rashad said.

"This one seems to care dearly for you."

"I don't think so."

"At no rate. You are mine." The goblin pointed the phaser at Dakul. "Say goodbye to your non-mate."

"Wait a minute !....." Dakul yelled.

"Good bye my dear." The goblin yelled. He began to pull the trigger. Suddenly a flash of light came out of the shrubbery. Its massive signature crossed the goblins arm severing it. The phaser now fell helplessly to the ground attached to it was the goblin's arm. The bolt hit another goblin who was busy rummaging through some things left on the ground vaporizing him on impact. It then bounced back. The bolt headed back to the injured goblin who babied his bloody stump, but this time the bolt severed his head and returned to its point of origin. The gloved figure caught the lightning bolt and it returned to its original form- a boomerang.

Other goblins who were around now charged the captain. As the nearest goblin came near, the boomerang was wielded as a sword and cut into the mid section. The greenish read ooze began to leak from the cut as Devore did a round house kick sending the goblin about four feet away. The remain two goblins began to approach Devore, but the boomerang now was sent over his head prepared to throw. At first the goblins hesitated, but then continued their advance. Devore smiled and instead of throwing it, resheathed it on his back where it was originally. He then pulled out the ninja-to, two straight edged sword, that were razor sharp. The swords at the ready, he executed a few butterfly movements which again caused the goblins to hesitate. To their dismay, Devore attacked and within on second, three slashes, sounded by the air being sliced, connected and severed vital limbs of the foremost goblin. The goblin's eyes were in astonishment as first his hand fell, then his other arm, then suddenly his head fell backward. The upright torso then fell to the ground with a large thump.

The remaining goblin ran away for his life. Irregardless of honor, duty, or loyalty, the goblin was more interested in self preservation. He ran fast and hard through the trees. Suddenly as if hit by a wall fell backward. Closer examination of the goblin revealed an arrow lodged deeply in his chest. From a distant tree, Junora walked out bow in hand. "It looked like you had everything under control." She said with a smile.

"I guess I did. Where is Brayden ?"

"Here dad."

"I am here to sir," Phanan came out.

Morriden all ready was untying Dakul and Rashad. "Not back sir." He said as he cut the bonds.

"I tried. Where is Michael ?"

Everyone looked around.

"I don't know." Phanan yelled.

"Something is not kosher in the state of Denmark!" Devore said perplexed.

"Maybe so. But I didn't like the looks of all that." Dakul said. "We better had better get a move on."

"Sobeit. Brayden. You have the lead."

"Aye sir."

Aboard the Hellcat, Commander Barker and Lieutenant Shale flew the nibble ship through space. The diplomatic voyage of some sort resulted in nothing. The planet which was believed to have life didn't. As a matter of fact the planet which was believed to be a class M and a class G turned out to be a Demon Planet. However the purpose of heading to the planet was for the durinuam and dilithuim, but actually nothing.

"Commander..." began Lieutenant Shale. "......this planet is a bust. There is nothing here. Not even my excitement for exploration can't hide my disappointment."

"Lieutenant. I completely understand. I too was looking for a little excitement, but I guess we will just have to go back to the boredom of the ship." Barker said. "Set course back to the Leviathan."

"Aye sir."

The Hellcat started it wide 180 turn then suddenly the console began to light up.

"What is it ?" Barker said stunned.

"I am not sure. Hold on," Shale said as he examined the scanners. The Hellcat bucked as asteroids and spacial fragments began to hit the hull.

"Shale. Realigned the forward deflector array."

"Understood."

After a few minutes the fragments stopped hitting the ship. However the various fragments zoomed by the ship.

"Commander. We are not going any faster then we had but this meteors and everything are still coming at us like we were standing still."

Barker's face turned white as he looked at the side monitors. "I think I know why." He pushed a few buttons and on the main viewscreen, a large black hole appeared filling the entire the screen.

"Omigod," Shale yelled.

"Redirect all available power to engines and front deflector screen," Barker yelled. "Leviathan this is the Hellcat. We have encountered a spacial anomaly."

[Commander...... sa......gain,] the squelch was too much.

"Commander Devore....."

The Hellcat was pelted with debris again.

"Lieutenant. Max power to the deflector array."

"Sorry sir, we have there. I can' t do anything."

"Damn. Well do some of that pilot stuff."

Shale's face lit up. "Yes sir!"

The Hellcat began to weave through the various particles of space junk. The black hole's immense power sucked different sizes of rocks and space muck ranging from pebbles that seemed to do nothing to large moon-sized rocks. However, the nimble craft navigated effortlessly between.

"We are almost out of it Commander."

"Good as soon as we are clear make way to the Leviathan."

"Aye sir."

Outside in the vacuum of space, a lone rock no bigger then a soft ball floated towards the black hole. Its mission was to find life on the other side, but the path was blocked, blocked a small Federation ship which flew on a collision path. The lone rock which seemed to fly speeds exponential to light, zipped its way through space. Almost at its final destination, it slammed to the port side of the Hellcat.

The klaxons went off and the internal lights changed from the familiar white, to red.

"Commander I've lost all control." Shale yelled.

"What !" Barker yelled. Panels began to explode all round them.

The Hellcat pitched downward maintaining its current speed. The inertial dampeners were not working. "I can't hold her."

"Try Shale."

"I am Chu !"

The control panel went off.

<<Collision Alert!>> The computer screamed in her analogous tome tone.

"Omigod." Chu said under his breath.
