Chief Operation's Officer's Log : Earthdate August 5, 2385.

"Wow, this is my first log ever as a Chief Operation's Officer, it sounds nice, Lieutenant Marco Borealiou, Chief of Operations, USS Leviathan-B."

"I'm a Head of Department now, with a pretty large Department to look after, talking of which, I'm now officially recording in my Official Duty Log of Earthdate August 5 2385 the following Promotion and Commendation Recommendations, these are as follows:

"I need someone to fill the post of Senior Operations Officer, based on my review performed two hours ago of the Service and Personnel Records of my Department, I officially make a request of Captain Taybar to promote Lieutenant Junior Grade Reegan Riggins to the position of Senior Operations Officer."

"I suppose I should stick to the chain of command and ask the XO first, but with the confusing legality of the situation that has just arisen, and the fact that Lieutenant Riggins will probably feel better if the CO passes it, I'm making the request to the Captain. It doesn't really matter, it's my department, I'm sure I'm allowed to make my own changes to it."

"Well, I'll have to check on that one, but I'm almost certain it's one of my responsibilities and duties, anyway, it's alright for everyone if the CO agrees it, which I hope and I'm pretty sure she will. I've not met her yet, my ship to the Taurus was re-routed back to DS9 to rendezvous with the Leviathan, I'll have to meet her informally sometime, just a chat in the Mess Hall maybe."
