Watch Your Back

Stefen sat up in bed with his new wife when his combage beep.

"Yes." He said, grabbing the badge from the table beside the bed.

[Sir there is a message for you from Starfleet Intelligence.] A reply came.

"What level is it ?" He asked as he kissed his wife.

[Sir, it is level Nine.] The voice came back. [Sir, it from Commodore West.]

Stefen looked at Jessica and thought. *Wow her father is making a name for himself.*

"Transfer it to my quarter on the Leviathan." He said as he stood up and searched for his uniform.

When he stood up he couldn't help the feeling that he was being watched. He quickly dressed and headed for the door.

"Jessica, I will be right back, your dad sent me a message." Stefen said.

"Ok but hurry back." Jessica said back.

Stefen got up and ran out of the room. To him a level nine message was the different between life and death.

USS Leviathan-B : Personal Quarters

Stefen arrived in his quarter to see the screen flashing that the message was there.

"Computer play message Moss-Omega-Pi-One-One-zero."

<Message playing.> The computer reposed.

[Stefen, I am wishing you a happy wedding and it is about time you married my daughter. Now to the reason that this is a Level nine. Stefen, I have been gathering Intelligence on a group known only as Omega. Omega is like Section 31 only worst, Stefen, they have started wars and killed innocent people. After two attacks Starfleet has made contact with Section 31 and we have agreed that they must be stopped. Section 31 has learned that a former Klingon double-agent named Klang is the leader. He led Omega when you lost your first wife. We need to stop Omega at all cost. I also learned that they are possibly working with sections of the Dominion in the Gamma Quadrant, find them. Watch your back Stefen. Stefen I want you to protect Jessica at all cost. I also learned that Omega is under orders to take you alive....]

Suddenly there was some noise over the comm link, which sounded like phaser fire. Then the Comodore's voice sounded.

[Stefen protect my daughter at all cost. What the hell !! Security Force to Starfleet Intelligence now.]

Stefen watched as the Commodore put up a fight but was shot in the chest. It reminded Stefen of Dawn. Stefen went to turn off the screen when he heard a voice.

[Stefen Alan Moss, Remember me.]

"Klang !"

[That right it me Klang and the Commodore was right I do have someone on you, someone you will never know until it is too late. I will have my revenge on you and your new wife and this time I will kill you.]

The screen went black. Klang was alive and he had just shot the deputy Chief of Intelligence for Starfleet and he knew Stefen was married again. Stefen went to his closet and changed out of his dress uniform and into duty uniform. He then grabbed a phaser and put it at his side. He left his quarters for the Captains ready room.
