Freedom Fighters

As Stefen walked to the Captain's Ready room, he saw Lieutenant Wright, his Intel colleague being escorted away by two Security officers, from the direction of the Captain's Ready room, where Stefen was now heading.

*I wonder what that's all about ?* He thought.

Stefen remember the days when he, Jessica, and Dawn were know as the 'Three Freedom Fighters.'

Starfleet Academy : 11 years ago

Stefen looked behind him as he heard a bunch of cadets that were trying to go AWOL. He had caught them as the class session was over. He'd see that they were trying to force two other to go with them.

"Where do you think you are going ?" He asked.

"What do you care for ?" One yelled.

"I see that you are trying to force those two to go with you…..." Stefen said as he pointed to the cadets in yellow. " ….and that is my concern."

"Listen Cadet walk away now." The one who had initially shouted threatened.

*Obviously this one's the ringleader of the group.* Stefen thought.

"Sorry can't do that." Stefen said as he grabbed the Ops cadets.

"Intelligence, you can back away now." The ringleader yelled. Stefen now remembered that his name was Sam…..something.

Stefen thought. *Well I guess today will be another day of fighting to keep other safe.*

"Run." He whispered to the Ops cadets.

The two cadet ran out of the area as fast as they could, Stefen turned around it was at this point that that he let his human side take over, cadets in the area turned around and saw the group.

"Hey he's letting them get away." Another of the group, who Stefen knew as Shawn yelled.

"Get him," Jacob yelled.

The group ran at Stefen as he threw them back. Then Stefen turned and ran out of the area followed by the group.

"Moss to Freedom I need a little help." He said as he called for help.

[Not again Stefen, well we will have a force meet you.] The female voice on the other end of the comm link said.

Stefen passed a security professor that looked at him.

"Stefen Moss slow down." The professor yelled.

Stefen yelled back, " I can't right now Professor Mills."

The professor looked back as he saw cadet come around the side. Stefen picked up the pace as they gain up on him. Stefen noticed two females on the roof and jumped off a wall and landed on the roof. The group came to the wall that Stefen jumped on and it was a dead end.

"Where he go ?" One asked.

Stefen looked at Jessica and Dawn, the three smiled. Stefen walked to the edge and looked down.

"Cadets of various positions you are hereby place under arrest for attempting to go AWOL, forcing two cadet against their will, and attacking a fellow cadet, these charges were made by the Freedom fighters and the Academy Security Force." Stefen yelled.

Security force appeared and led the cadets away. Stefen looked at the two females who went and hit him in the head.

"Never do that again Stefen." Dawn yelled at him.

"If you do anything by yourself again we will beat you down." Jessica yelled.

"Stefen Moss, I will allow them to." Professor Mills said as she appeared, "You three are the best I have seen in a long time, never forget that. Now let's move along and ladies hit him again so he remembers this."

The four went off the roof and to class.

Leviathan-B : Present

Stefen came to the Captain's door and rang the door chimes. Although he'd not realised it, he was actually beginning to feel delayed shock from the events he'd just witnessed over the sub-space comm with Commodore West.

*Was he OK.* Stefen thought. *How can I tell Jessica that I actually witnessed Klang execute her father.*

The doors opened and Stefen stepped inside, noticing that as well as Captain Taybar, Commander Rashad and Lieutenant Commander J'ross were also in the room.
