Confronting the Past

Stefen sat in the brig after he had killed a spy. He and Klang used to be like brothers, they had serve together for years. He remembered the time they first met.

Omega VI : January 6, 2376

Stefen was on holodeck one, training for a mission that was assigned to him and another agent. Stefen had holographic warriors around him. He threw a few into the wall and kick dropped some. When he heard the door open.

"Get out of here." a deep Klingon voice yelled.

"I am sorry but this is my time." Stefen said in his Vulcan voice.

"I am taking this area of the holodeck by force or you can leave Lieutenant."

"I think you will have to take it by force." Stefen came back.

The Klingon ran at him. Stefen stepped out of the way he kicked him in the gut and sent him fly.

"Where is that warrior at ?"

The Klingon went at him again. Stefen was keeping control of his temper, but it slipped and he threw him into a wall. Stefen then put his knee into his chest.

"Now are you done."

"Yes."

"Good the name is Stefen."

"Name is Klang and we had been assign a mission."

"Okay lets go."

Present

Stefen sat in the brig. It was at that time that he began to trust Klang, now it was a time to kill him. He heard the door open and came back to full alert.

He saw Lieutenant McQueen enter the room and speak briefly with the security detail, who promptly left the Brig. Stefen was expecting the worse, but instead Logan went to the console beside the door.

"Congratulations, Lieutenant Moss." Said Lieutenant McQueen, lowering the forcefield. "You are being released. Commander Rashad here was willing to vouch for your innocence."

Logan glanced at the Romulan-Bajoran next to him slightly suspiciously.

"There are still a lot of questions to be answered, but it looks like you were right in one respect, the person you've killed was not your wife. They were using some holoemitter technology to disguise themselves, although I'm still not sure how they managed to evade the security checks."

"Well, thank you, Lieutenant McQueen, " Replied the half-Vulcan Intelligence Officer. "It sure is nice to be out of this place."

"No hard feeling !" Logan suggested.

"You forget Lieutenant…." Stefen replied. "Vulcan's don't have feelings."

With that, Rashad and Moss both left the Brig and headed down the corridor towards the Intelligence office.
