USS Devastator

The 'escape' attempt by the Jem'Hadar prisoners had been a ruse, to lead the Leviathan back into the Gamma quadrant. Even so, they hadn't treated the shuttle they had used in their escape well and now it was stationed on the sixth planet of the Tarn Vedra system.

Once they had landed, the Jem'Hadar had released their 'hostages' and informed them of the truth. Most of the 'hostages' were security officers, who had been escorting the Jem'Hadar off the Leviathan. But there were a couple of other crew.

The young Klingon Ensign Rustazh was also there having found himself in the middle of the 'escape' and Lieutenant Omega and Marine 1st Lieutenant Jack Truman, who had been working on the Devastator when it had been 'hijacked'.

The Jem'Hadar prisoners and the Security officers had left the shuttle and headed for the only structure on the planet. An hour later, they had returned with nine more Jem'Hadar, all secured.

Whilst the others had been off securing the rogue Jem'Hadar station, Tony and Jack had got to work trying to repair the damage the Jem'Hadar had caused.

"Make sure we have every Jem'Hadar are under wraps." Tony Omega announced from the engine compartment of the Devastator.

"Yes sir" Answered the young female Ensign replied. "Lieutenant Omega, how long will it take to get the shuttle back to operation condition ?"

"Well, about 30 minutes before I can have communication back online." Tony replied.

"In order to have the shuttle space worth will take a little more of a miracle, but with all the resources here it will be about two hours max."

Then one of the 'escaped' Jem'Hadar, the leader said, "My name is Goran'Agar I made an emergency signal to my people, my batch-mates."

"Well I know one Captain who not going to like hearing that at all." Tony replied while repairing the Comm system.

"I hope everyone is happy when we have communication back online. So Ensign, I know the weather isn't too nice but try and see if there is anyone out looking for us." Tony ordered.

"Yes sir." Ensign McQueen said as she work on the control. "Sir, there is something in orbit over the planet. Sensor are not to clear on the information working on getting a better ID."

"Well, I have better get these repairs done so we can get off this rock." Tony replied.

Ten minutes later, Tony finally got the communications systems back up and hailed the vessel in orbit above them.

"Hello Captain." Ensign McQueen announced from the communications station. "Welcome to Tarn Vedra Six."

[How did the plan go ?] Aki asked.

"Like clockwork." Lana admitted. "We were surprised when the Jem'Hadar broke free and took us hostage. But we were even more surprised when we landed here and they set us free."

[Is the base secure ?] Aki enquired.

"The base is secure Captain. We have all nine members of the rogue Jem'Hadar secure." Lana announced. "They didn't put up much of a fight, it looks like when we destroyed their main base, all communications were lost. They've been cut off ever since and their supply of White was almost depleted."

[We have a group of vessels heading our way, we need to get you and the Jem'Hadar back onboard the ship and away from here as soon as possible.] Captain Taybar reported.

Goran'Agar, the leader of the escaped Jem'Hadar pushed past Lana and came into view.

"Captain, please do not worry about the vessels approaching us." He stated. "They are not going to attack. They are my people, my batch-mates."

[Goran, I thought we agreed that you would not contact any of your group until we had the primary site secure.] Aki replied, the sound of anger and disappointment clearly noticeable in her voice.

"Things have moved on more than I expected." Goran admitted. "I've found records in the post's database, the Dominion were starting to close in on them. I had no choice but to tell them to leave their posts and head for the rendezvous point."

[How many have responded ?] Aki enquired.

"So far we've heard from about fifty Jem'Hadar, mostly individuals, but we have two transports with over a dozen Jem'Hadar on each." Goran responded. "There are about another dozen who are too far away to reach the rendezvous in time, they'll make their way directly to the primary site."

[Goran, prepare to leave immediately.] Aki ordered. [We'll discuss this face to face. Put Ensign McQueen back on.]

Goran disappeared once more to be replaced by Ensign McQueen.

[Ensign, secure the prisoners and get back up here ASAP.] Aki ordered.

"Already underway." Lana reported. "We should be ready to take-off within thirty minutes."

[Understood.] Aki replied. [Leviathan out.]
