Choices

Stefen sat in his office after the briefing and took a deep breath. He knew that something was coming, something that he could not avoid. He walked to his computer and opened the files he had downloaded.

He transferred all data on the lancer to the computer and continued to make a few more notes, then began to pack his battle gear. He walked to the armoury and grabbed a pair of phasers, a phase rifle and anything else he thought he might need.

As he walked back into his quarters, he noticed that his computer was active and saw that he had a message.

[This is Section 31 agent 23006 to 02300 I have located your wife and I am transmitting the co-ordinates to you. I will remind you that if you come alone, I will help you to the best of my abilities and I will be honoured to take care of this enemy to the Federation. Also before I go be warned, make the choice fast for she is to die within one day.]

"Computer access Commander Rashad's communicator." He announced. "No audio."

<Confirmed.>

Stefen's own communicator beeped once, then went dead. Rashad had got the message.

"Computer inform Captain that I will be joining Commander Rashad on the Hellcat." Stefen announced.

<Confirmed.>

Stefen place the armour and walked out of the room, it was time to save his wife and end this. Although the message had said come alone, he still needed to reach the location. Stefen doubted that the Captain would allow him to go off in a shuttle on his own, but now that he knew the truth about Rashad he was confident that he could persuade her to help him.

And having the Hellcat would be a bonus. As the only vessel onboard equipped with a Federation cloaking device, he knew that the vessel could give him an edge.

Heading down the corridor, he soon found himself in the main shuttlebay and quickly joined the rest of the crew onboard the large shuttle. Moments later, they were out in space and cloaked.
