One Stops and One Beginnings

After hours of trying to locate K'Lang, Stefen left Command where Section 31 agents and Starfleet Intelligence were working together on finding him. As he walked down the halls he saw Section 31 and Starfleet Security Officer moving as one, protecting as one.

They had put aside there different and began to work as a team. He walked down the hall of the prison and saw that the guards had triple in the last hour. They all knew who he was and let him pass, he walked to Sara Mills cell. Opening the door, he stepped inside.

She was sat on the floor, bruise up. Stefen was not here to abuse her anymore it was time.

"Sara did he ever tell you what happen on Mentar V ?" He asked.

"What do you mean ?" She said.

January 30, 2376 Mentar V

It was one big team, fourteen people working to stop the current government from make a weapon like none the galaxy has never seen. it was called a Nova Bomb by the Mentans. The bomb was design to take out a solar system by making gravity go backward, in other words, create a Black Hole, only faster. When Starfleet Intelligence got wind of it, our orders where to destroy it, along with Section 31.

The team moved into the dome where the nova bombs were being built. Stefen went first and Dawn brought up the rear, then the lights came on and they were surround by Mentar Military, they were all Section 31 agents so they could do one thing but fight. Phasers when up.

"Mentan, stand down now." Dawn shouted.

"You are under arrest under the orders of the Mentan Imperium." One of the Mentan Major's shouted

K'Lang stepped forward. "Open fire, max stun."

Phaser fire started to shoot out at the Mentan as the assault started to push the guards back. Then Stefen noticed the charges on the six nova bombs, which appeared to have been activated. Whilst some of the assault team continued to fire at the Mentan, others rushed to examine the charges. They managed to defuse all but one of the charges.

Realising that the one remaining charge was about to go off, along with the bombs, the Mentan guards started to run out of the building, everyone looked at each other. Whilst all the SI assault team retreated out of the area and got on their ship, K'Lang volunteered to stay behind to prevent the Mentans from defusing the charge. What happen next no one but K'Lang knows.

Present.....

"What I do know I that the charges went off, but when we returned to recover K'Lang's body and ensure the bombs was destroyed for good, we discovered that both the bombs and K'Lang were gone." Stefen finished. "Along with the entire plant's database."

"So what K'Lang boasted was true." Sara remarked. "He does have the ultimate weapon."

"I knew what K'Lang did yet I could not prove it," Stefen said as he stood up, "and Sara I will find and he will die."

Stefen walked out the door of the cell and back to the temporary quarter for his family.
