Previously…… Stefen walked inside the Holodeck to find a program running. It was a battle, one he remembered too well. It was the day Dawn had died on S'sgarnon . “Computer end program.” <Unable to apply> “Computer who activated this program ?” <Unknown> Just as Stefen was about to turn, he was hit in the arm. *What the hell !!! * He thought “Computer inform base Security and Medical to report to Holodeck one, then send a message to T’Val on the USS Leviathan B. ” Stefen stated. ”Message to read : Watch your back.” <Message sent> Stefen pulled out his lancer and moved around. He did not like this, whoever this person was they knew what happen on the Gorn Home world. Stefen walked to the Gorn Intelligence Agency and found a male stand there. “It about time Stefen.” “Who the hell are you ?” “The man that will kill you, like you killed me on Mentar V.” “On no.” They both pulled out their lancer and began to fight. Now…… Lieutenant Moss held his arm as he blocked hit after hit from his unknown attacker. *Who ever this guy was, he was thorough.* Moss thought. Stefen looked up at the man from the ground. “Who the hell are you ?” Moss asked. “Don’t you remember the Section 31 attack on Mentar V…“ The tall male asked as he kicked Stefen again. “….I’m the one that was the first to fall.” Stefen looked up as a metal arm appeared, he reach for Stefen, plucking him off the ground and threw him up into the branches of a tree. Stefen gasped out of air as he struggled to disentangle himself from the branches. “You see when you left me to die, I joined K’lang and guess what, we are attacking you wife.” “No.” Stefen gasps. “What that, no….” The male yelled. “….how can you stop us. Do you really think that she’ll be safe on that ship of yours ?.” The man looked up into the tree, tilting his head to the left as he looked up. Eye to eye Stefen finally recognised the face behind the scarring and partial mask. The man noticed the look if recognition in Stefen’s eyes. “Tiko…” Stefen remarked. “Tiko Monroe.” “Finally….” Tiko remarked your memory comes back. Tiko didn’t get a chance to finish his sentence as Stefen used all his strength, plus the height of the tree to jump down and hit Tiko in the face. The force of the drop sent Tiko reeling backwards, whilst Stefen rolled and got up onto his feet. His lancer was just a foot away and Stefen dropped to the ground, reaching for the weapon. But Tiko had regained his composure and had his own lancer ready to fire. Both fired at the same time, sending waves of energy across the holodeck. Stefen’s shot hit Tiko’s metal arm, sending the lancer held in its grasp flying into the air. “It’s over Tiko…..” Stefen stated, pointing his lancer squarely at his attackers chest. Tiko just laughed. “It is never over…….”
Suddenly the air was filled with the sound of something powering up. Stefen quickly realised that the sound was coming from Tiko himself. “Today we will both die.” Tiko announced. “You left me to die on Mentar V, but I survived. Now you will feel the wrath of vengeance.” Stefen looked at his attacker as the sound grew louder. *Think Stefen think.* He thought to himself. Suddenly he started to re-configure his lancer. “I wouldn’t fire that at me if I were you Stefen.” Tiko announced. “The power overload in my power core would obliterate this holodeck and half the station.” Stefen finally finished the modifications and aimed his lancer past Tiko and towards the walls. The beam shot past the shoulder of Tiko and hit the far wall of the holodeck, revealing the grid behind the ‘false’ walls. Tiko turned see what Stefen had fired at and realised just what he was trying to do. “You’ll never escape.” Tiko announced, but it was too late. Stefen had moved methodically around the room, getting his bearings and finally revealing the master holodeck controls. Stefen fired straight at the control panel and it exploded, overloading the entire hologrid. The walls disappeared leaving just the empty holodeck. “Well done.” Tiko congratulated his foe.” But you’re too late.” “Moss to Security.” Stefen announced as he tapped his comm. badge. “We have an intruder in holodeck twelve. He needs to be transported off station NOW.” [Security to Lieutenant Moss, please clarify.] A voice announced. “Ten seconds.” Tiko announced. “BOMB.” Stefen shouted. The sound of the power overload grew louder and louder, then suddenly it was gone. Moments later, several security officers appeared at the door of the holodeck, weapons drawn. “Thank you.” Stefen announced as he finally collapsed on the floor. Outside the station, Tiko Monroe re-materialised in the emptiness of space and looked back at Jupiter station one last time before the bomb planted deep within his body finally went critical. Millions of miles away, a small cloaked shuttle looked on as it headed out of the Sol system. All his plans had gone wrong, this was not a good day to die. *But there will be another day to die.* K’Lang thought to himself. He knew that he was the only one to defeat Stefen Moss. He had monitored the battle between Moss and Monroe and realised that Stefen drew strength from his wife. Tiko should never have threatened Jessica and neither should K’Lang. Attacking his family only made him stronger, more determined. K’Lang needed a new plan of attack, one where they would face each other one on one. |
