Ambassador Sub-Commander T'Plek
September 1, 2385
Executive Lounge

The time on board the ship, any ship, was usually dull for diplomat. Sitting in the room or lounge was not considered exciting, even if there was a chance to talk to someone. Unfortunately people tended to avoid diplomats, for reasons unknown for T'Plek. Once she tried to study this behaviour, no successes unfortunately.

This time it was similar, she was standing in lounge, watching the stars and using all her brainpower to analyze current situation. Of course it was hard to say what the future was to offer, but it was possible to predict the beginning course of action and prepare for various outcomes. Intel data concerning the species she was about to negotiate with was scattered and rare, but she could build up a picture of her mission.

Right now, however, she had one more duty to attend. Duty approved by StarFleet HQ with great concern many years ago, but it was the funding of Federation itself. Actually T'Plek was not glad about it too, but since emotions were irrelevant for her she just took her Padd and started writing.

Vulcan government has secured the right to remain independent if it comes to information, so their operatives had a duty to send briefings concerning theirs current status and mission, as long is it isn't classified. Sometimes even if they were classified. T'Plek has written her report, quite dull in this moment, and gazed at stars again.

Somewhere there was an ultimate knowledge, a logic of universe, a total understanding. Vulcans doesn't have dreams or wishes, but if they had it would be the best they could wish about. T'Plek sighted and turned around, heading to her bed. She was way too long with humans, she started to think illogical way.

With two fingers touching each other she sat down and started a ritual of logic, venturing deep in her mind and analyzing all her potential in the light of incoming events. For almost four hours she was voyaging the deeper parts of her consciousness, and finally she opened her eyes and looked around.

"I am the pure logic, I revoke emotions, I am the knowledge. My mind is under my control, power of my logic will...."

[Ambassador T'Plek, this is Operations. We're one hour from our destination.] Announced the comm

"There goes my logic..." said T'Plek quietly, tapped the comm and said calmly:

“Acknowledged.”

About four hours of meditation wasted by simple comm information. It was really hard to be a Vulcan in the human world...
