Rashad found herself outside Sickbay after using her Section 31 site-to-site transporter. No one had noticed her suddenly appear in the corridor, but the device was designed to scan the destination site before initiating the transport. The transport was also completely undetectable to the ship’s internal sensors, as the device interfaced with the sensor control systems. Unless you were tracking the individual, you would not notice them move form one location to another. Rashad entered Sickbay and quickly looked around. She noticed the Doctor in her office reading from her console, but the rest of Sickbay was empty. Rahel noticed the Commander enter the room and rose from her own seat and headed towards her friend. “Are you OK t’Kul.” Rahel enquired. Rashad was hesitant, still struggling with her conscience. “I’m feeling a little disorientated to be honest.” Rashad lied. “Sit down on the biobed and we’ll take a look.” Rahel stated. “I’ve been examining the virus you’ve been infect with, it’s like nothing I’ve ever seen, as soon as I think I’ve found a way to stop it, it adapts.” “Do you think you can find a way to stop the virus ?” Rashad asked as she sat upright on the bio bed. Rahel scanned the Commander, checking the readings coming into her medical tricorder. “With enough time and unlimited resources….” Rahel stated. “….but I don’t hold out too much hope. We’ll do what we can and I’m certain that I can at least slow down the progress of the virus.” “I’m sorry.” Rashad said. She gripped the neck of the Doctor, who fell to the floor. Quickly picking up the Doctor, Rashad activated the personnel transporter and moments later, they both re-emerged back on the Hellcat. Rashad carried Rahel to the command deck and placed her in the command chair before returning to the helm position. |
