Jessica Moss-West

Jessica was born on Earth to Commander Darrel West and Ensign Sara West. She was born at Prince George's County Hospital in 2352. Her father was a Starfleet Officer who was also a Intelligence agent. Jessica was a girl with a free sprit, her parents had a hard time controlling her. Jessica and a Stefen Moss, a half-human Half Vulcan who lived in the same living complex were the best of friends. You could not get the two apart even if it was the end of the world.

When Stefen went to Starfleet Academy, Jessica decide to follow, she attended all the same class as Stefen. It was here that Jessica, Stefen and a third Starfleet Cadet, Dawn Moxson became known as the Three Freedom Fighters. The three always tried to keep younger cadet safe. The Security Academy force was happy that the three of them were around when need, it help keep the peace. During their Second year Jessica noticed that Stefen and Dawn were growing closer and taking on missions for Starfleet Intelligence. As time went on, she began to feel that Stefen and her were drifting apart from each other, so she decided to change course to get herself way. After the Academy she learnt that Stefen had proposed to Dawn and after the wedding, requested and assignment in a remote outpost.

In 2380, Jessica learnt that Dawn, Stefen wife, had died in combat. The unofficial story was a fighter crash, but when Jessica looked into the death, she was blocked by Starfleet Intelligence. Taking a two month absence, using up all her leave in the process, she attempted to reach Stefen and the closeness that had existed for so long came back, but it was the wrong time. She returned to her post, but kept in touch with Stefen. Three years later, after an attack by an unknown force, Jessica decided that she needed to take a more active and forceful role in her life and career. Finding it hard to find such a position within Starfleet, she instead resigned her commission and applied to the Federation Marines, something that neither of her parents approved of.

After a year at boot camp, she found out that Stefen was at DS 9 waiting to join his new vessel. Deciding the time was now right, after nearly five years, she took a ship out to the station, found Stefen and asked here to marry him. Stefen accepted and the two were married on DS9 the same day. Jessica was also assigned to the same vessel as her new husband and is now a member of the Foxtrot unit on the USS Leviathan-B.
